Delete global job templates
Super users can delete global job templates for automatically configuring backups on Windows servers. Global job templates are created by Super users and available for all child sites in a Portal instance.
Only Admin users in parent sites can delete custom job templates for child sites that they manage. See Delete custom job templates.
To delete a global job template:
-
When signed in to Portal as a Super user, click Global Settings on the navigation bar.
-
Click the Job Templates tab.
The tab shows the current Global job templates.
-
Select the check box for each job template that you want to delete.
-
In the Actions list, click Delete Job Templates.
The Confirmation box lists the job templates to be deleted. An asterisk (*) appears beside any templates that are used for automatically configuring backups in a child site.
If you delete a template that is used for automatically configuring backups in a child site, auto-configuration will be disabled in the child site.
