Delete custom job templates

Admin users in parent sites can delete custom job templates for automatically configuring agents in child sites that they manage.

Note: A custom job template cannot be deleted if it is used for automatically configuring backups in a site.

Only Super users can delete global job templates, which are available for all child sites in a Portal instance. See Delete global job templates.

To delete a custom job template:

  1. When signed in to Portal as an Admin user who can manage child sites, click Sites on the navigation bar.

  2. Open a child site record by clicking its row.

    Note: If you cannot open the site record, the Allow admins to manage child sites check box might not be selected in the parent site.

  3. Click the Agent Auto Configuration tab for the site.

  4. In the Job Template list, click the custom job template that you want to delete.

  5. Click Delete.

  6. In the confirmation message box, click Delete.
